Day 2: Heart and Seoul - Namsangol Park and Myeongdong Shopping District

We left Nami Island for Seoul at around 4 PM. We were on our way to Chungmuro for this camera shop that I found online. We found the street and I was sure that we found the building, but unfortunately, the camera shop was not there. Not sure if it just moved or if it has closed completely. I wasn't very happy. :(

We went to Namsangol Hanok Village after the failed camera shop quest. We were very tired by this time. It was getting dark when we reached Namsangol.

Namsangol Hanok Village also showcases traditional Korean homes. Hanoks where different social classes would live, from a peasant's hanok to the king's. This is also a cultural center where events and performances are held.
Welcome to Namsangol Hanok Village.
Drinking fountain.
Inside one of the hanoks.
Joseon Dynasty trademark.
You can see the N Seoul Tower from the park.
N Seoul Tower was already within in reach, but we were too tired to go. After the quick tour of Namsangol, we all agreed that it was time for a quick retail therapy at the Myeongdong Shopping District.

Dinner at the famous Lotteria, before exploring Myeongdong.
Burgers, fries and cheese sticks.

Look who we bumped into while shopping!
Lee Min Ho!!
Too tired now to even point and shoot. Once we have bought some good stuff, we decided to call it a night. Day 2 was a success! :D
